bummed event
I am psyched. At the same time, I'm kind of bummed for Marco, because he doesn't have another event to ski.

I think Marco made a pretty big mistake on top and I made some mistakes on the bottom, so I knew it was going to be real tight. I had the opportunity to shut the door if I had a clean run, and I didn't do that.

I'm so excited for him. I'm his room-mate here. He deserves it, he skied great today.

It was really cool. You get to know better some of the other competitors (on the U.S. Olympic team). It was kind of cool talking shop with those guys about their sport.

It's incredible. He probably has more medals in the Olympics and world championships than some people have skied races. I can't believe how he brings out his game when it counts most.

There's a lot of guys on the American team right now who can punch into that top 10, top five and medal placing.
