anyone level michael offense reach sometime
I would like to say we have a well-rounded offense and a well-rounded defense, I'm not going to say anyone is Michael Vick, I'd like to think we can sometime reach that level of skill.

What you expect to see here is the same thing from the first year. You are still going to see a hard-nosed team that plays to the last second of the game. That is the kind of attitude I try to project and I try to get 100 percent out of them.

I don't care if I have to play my first string the entire game. I want to see consistent play. We've been working on it and it is just not there.

Right in the middle of the game I thought we were in trouble and I just told them 24 minutes they have to pull it together and a team and they did. We held them to two goals in the second half. Our transition game was awesome, we took away the two guys that score 70 percent of their goals.

We almost played four quarters, but we played three quarters. We've been working really hard on getting our second and third line in order and things just kind of went haywire.

The offense ran real well, but their shot placement still needs shining up. All around from face off guys, to offense, to defense, to goalie, to attack they all did everything almost perfect.

The only difference between the Commonwealth and Cedar Run is that for the past seven years, Albemarle has gone to states and no one has beaten them. In the Cedar Run, I think everyone is more evenly matched. There is no team that everyone is going to lose to. It is so competitive because everyone is fighting for a spot.

Coming off an eight day rest I thought they'd be flat and they came out firing. We had a couple more fouls than I would like, but when things start getting sloppy like they did in the fourth, there are going to be fouls, but besides that I am real proud of them.

Jeremy is a smart player and he knows when to take a shot and he had a great game.

Jackson is a new goalie and he has already gotten some compliments from college coaches. I don't know if natural goalie is the appropriate word, but he is fearless. The goalie is considered the captain or leader of the team and he is growing into that role very quickly and his stick skills are excellent.

Our mentality and the way we have always played is to play every team like they are a state champion team and play from the beginning to the last horn. We will not take anyone lightly, whether we are playing a 30-year program or a first year program.

He's an offensive player, he's a defensive player and if you here anybody out here screaming it's probably him. He is the kind of person that out of the blue will knock somebody's lights out to get everyone on the team fired up, and that is that kind of player he is on the field.
