adjustment biggest expect leagues lifestyle majors manager minor travel
The biggest adjustment is the lifestyle and the travel. It's not what we're used to or what you expect at the major-league level. Especially for a manager who was in the minor leagues for a long time. To make it to the majors and have to go back to the minors, it's probably a little emotionally upsetting.

Kirby was one of the best guys and best teammates I've ever been associated with. I never saw the guy unhappy one time and he tried to make everybody else feel the same way.

arizona decided flown great guys heard hospital pull rushed shows six team
He was at the hospital when they decided to pull the plug. There was like six guys from our team that had flown out to Arizona to go to the hospital and see him after they heard about the stroke. That just shows what a great guy he was, that so many guys rushed to his bedside.
