We essentially need to increase the awareness of this problem it sounds a little less dangerous if you haven't seen it for yourself, but it really is pretty scary to see these kids potentially getting hurt from this situation, and we need help from these students' parents and families to tell them that they shouldn't put themselves in so much danger just to take a shortcut,

The staff had to pack up all their teaching materials, personal materials and school district materials at the end of the school year last year to be moved from the 64,000 plus square-foot facility, then they have come back on their own time to unpack all those materials and get their rooms back in order.

The Glades County School District Maintenance Team, led by Al Brown has also played a vital role in the completion of the project. In an effort to keep costs down, the maintenance department took on several tasks in the project instead of bidding them out to a sub contractor.
