hard teamwork watch
I'm all about teamwork and cheering, but it's hard to watch when you can't go out there and play. I don't like to watch.
critic good half living sort
I make my living half as a critic, so I think that opinionated would be a good thing for a critic to be. And I think crankiness has some sort of connotation of individualism,
amazing dance embrace present sort work
I have an amazing spouse; we're a team. He works, and I work, and we sort of do this dance with each other so that we can be present to our kids. But I think the whole 'balance' thing is an illusion; we just embrace the imbalance.
fiction hard tendency weakness
I have a tendency to embellish: I think it's a weakness of fiction writers. Once you know how to make a story better, it's hard not to do it all the time.

forever mad showing takes
I feel like I'm showing like mad and it takes forever to get an offer.
karate miss mom teeth
I did karate for about three years. When I was going into Miss Texas, my mom said, 'Let's not do karate this year. Let's not have any knocked-out teeth on the stage.'
choose happened hoping leave planning
I can't say what happened before because I didn't know him then. And, you know, I kind of choose to leave him his privacy. But I know that right now we're hoping not to have a gap. We're planning to do another one soon.
