enjoyable felt last record though wish won year
I wish we'd have won one or two more ballgames, especially in the last year, ... I never really had a year, even though the record wasn't always real good, I never had a year where I just felt like it wasn't an enjoyable effort.
great mike work
Mike's the boss, and he's going to be great one. I think it'll be great to work with Mike and Tom.
build care fast flat game good guys kinds mad players shape stayed took
One thing about him is he has always stayed in shape so he can do these kinds of things. Not many players could be away from the game and play as fast as he has. He kind of pisses me off with his flat little tummy. He's always made me mad because he was one of those guys that had the good build and took care of himself.

Lucky enough that Mike Mularkey was in a position to make a pity hire, and I think everyone knows that's what it is, and he put me back in here.
foot mouth stuck
I stuck my foot in my mouth more than most.
carry coach hip saw
I saw inexperience in 100 different ways, ... Unfortunately, you can't coach it or carry it in your hip pocket. It's what young ones go through. We're not disappointed, and we're not disenchanted.
best fought
I was down, ... I made the best of it, kind of fought through it.
boomer coached early great guys handled prime reminds steve styles threw
He reminds me of Steve Young in his prime with his mobility, ... I coached some great quarterbacks in Boomer and Joe, but their styles were different than this kid. But those guys were great commanders. We threw the no-huddle at him (Sunday), and he handled it the way they did in their early days.
serious trouble
I was in serious cabin-fever trouble being out of football,
great next tail works
J.P. has a great attitude. He works his tail off, and those things are important. Now the next thing is repetition, keep doing it, and that's what we're doing.
careers remind
You just remind him that careers are just that, they're careers,
coaching experience happiness happy high loved missed though truly
I'm very, very happy to be back in the NFL. I've really missed it so much, even though I've truly loved my experience coaching in high school. Really, every coach should experience that.
