baseball effort hardly history human ridiculous
Rotisserie baseball may be the most ridiculous duplication of effort in the history of human beings, but that's hardly a concern.
baseball game played
Baseball is not a game played on paper. On paper, they win.
base fallout happens looked supply
We've looked at it. If they go into restructuring, the fallout in the supply base happens very quickly.
baseball believe desire game heart played
If we have more heart and desire than they do -- and I believe we do -- we'll do OK. Baseball is not a game played on paper. On paper, they win.
anyone based bigger cost cover derived hopefully income loved meet might move people simply somewhere ticket turn year
We would have loved to move to the bigger arena, simply to accommodate hopefully more people so we don't have to turn anyone away at a high-profile game. The cost is just prohibitive. Based on the income that we've derived each year from ticket sales, it wouldn't be enough to cover the rent. It wouldn't even be close. . . . I thought (the estimate) might be somewhere where we could meet and negotiate, but it wasn't even in the ballpark.

average based billion canon city dodge drink driving estimated salt survey trees
One day I was driving between Canon City and Dodge City, Kan., and I conducted a windshield survey on salt cedar trees. Based on an average width I conservatively estimated that those trees would drink 700,000 billion gallons a year.
control gun momentum normally run side surprised tried worked
We tried to keep the momentum on our side and control the tempo. We don't normally play a run and gun style, so I was surprised that when we sped up the game, it actually worked in our favor.
hole inside might tried
We tried to get one inside on him. We thought we might have had a hole there but he made the adjustment.
believe buy count decisions falls instead kids major regular shut six starting team tech
We just want the kids to attack. We'll count up the takedowns at the end of the year. We want them to be aggressive, to not shut down for six minutes. We want them going for major decisions instead of regular decisions, tech falls instead of majors, falls instead of tech falls. We want them getting team points, to buy into the team concept, and they're starting to believe in it.
adding bricks
We just got keep adding bricks to the mansion.
carefully climb crash crew entire feeling hatched helm holding mistake opposite rig side southern spike storm sweep top yacht
We were out there in the Southern Ocean, feeling very insignificant in a big part of the planet, ... At any minute, another storm would sweep in. We hatched a plan: Spike and I would climb up and jury-rig the fitting. As we started the climb, I told the crew that they must helm the yacht very carefully on the opposite tack, as the rigging was only holding up one side of the mast. If the helmsman made a mistake while we were up on the mast, we'd crash down over the side with the entire rig on top of us.
dug half last ourselves played second six wish
We wish we could have started the second half better. We dug ourselves into a hole. But these last five, six weeks, we've played great.
