I'm excited for her to go into this season with the confidence that she is a Pac-10 level shortstop. We know that she is going to come up with big plays, and be a stabilizing force.

I imagine we'll probably see him at some point on Saturday unless it's a complete and utter blowout. He's got to pitch sooner or later, so at some point he's going to come in, maybe sooner than the ninth.

I'm sure the fans are fi red up a little bit. As players we're fired up, but we try to keep it at an even keel.

Initially, I had my doubts because of his physical status, ... But ROTC is about giving everybody an opportunity.
