anybody beating forward fun laps stuff testing tony tough
Tony Stewart is tough here. He's probably got more laps than anybody here in IndyCar testing and I.R.L. and stuff like that. It's a fun place to drive. Tony has done well here. We look forward to beating him, too.
bad chief comment crew evening johnson sunday turned
Everything I said got turned into being a Jimmie Johnson comment and there was never a Jimmie Johnson comment. It was about his crew chief and that's the bad thing about how everything went down Sunday evening at Daytona.
asked easier lap loves perfect poles single team turn
The team loves qualifying at Atlanta. And we get asked a lot why we can't turn the poles into wins. I always say it's a lot easier to perfect a single lap than it is to perfect about 300 of them.
car conscious driving last race since
That was the most conscious I've been (of position) driving a car since this race last year.
definitely emotion emotions experience expressing feeling helps portray wrote
It definitely helps to have the acting experience going into singing, because when you're singing, you have to portray the emotion you were feeling when you wrote the song. They're the same thing, in a way; it's expressing your emotions through words.
I stress out a lot. Being a perfectionist doesn't help with that!
couple finish five guarantee races top win winning
We can't just finish in the top five now. We've got to win races. Winning a couple of races would be awesome, but even that wouldn't guarantee us the title.
except key protect public virtually word
We've experienced this vandalism and destruction on virtually all our parcels except the islands. We would really like to get word out to the public that we want to protect these lands. The public's going to be key to help.
brings certain crew example legality repetitive seem situations slow specific strict suspension
You know, to see the repetitive situations of questionability or legality of certain crew chief's work, or his team's work, I should say, that just brings up a lot of questions. I don't have a specific example of what could or should be done other than something a little more strict than a suspension because, you know, that didn't seem to slow him down too much.
aggressive daytona definitely driving issue question toward
I don't think it was so much an issue as it was a question of how it would be called. There was definitely aggressive driving up toward the front. But it was just like the other Daytona 500s.
again beside certain example happens ought repeat seem situation slow specific strict time
If we have repeat offenders, if the situation happens time and time again with a certain individual, something ought to be done beside suspension. I don't have a specific example of what could or should be done other than something a little more strict than a suspension. Because, you know, that didn't seem to slow him down too much.
change dodge expect mine nascar retaliate turn
Mine was unintentional, his was intentional. That was obvious, and NASCAR didn't do much to change that. It's unfortunate because the Alltel Dodge was fast. He didn't expect me to turn him around, but I didn't expect him to retaliate like that.
expecting later means mine nascar purposely ran shocked surprised wreck
Mine was unintentional and his was intentional and that's all I'm saying. NASCAR can do what they want with it. By no means did I purposely wreck Dale Jarrett. I was shocked and surprised and when he later ran into us. I wasn't expecting it.
