aware definitely happened josh last satisfied
I don't think Josh would ever say he was satisfied with what happened here last year, but he definitely was well aware of it,
bearing behind came clock far lose rush seconds shot snap spot trying
We had no shot of making that one. You have 1.26 seconds and (holder) B.J. (Sander) has a clock in his head, as do I, and the snap came back way behind him. He was trying to rush to get it around and when it's that far off, you kind of lose the bearing on where the spot is.
shot
We had no shot of making that one. It was just out of sequence.
forget guided hesitant last nfl swing though
I was a little hesitant (on the 50-yarder). I didn't swing away on that one and kind of guided it through. We'll be fine. You forget that even though he was around last year, this was his first NFL game.
against bigger defense detroit everybody good last losing saying scale year
I would say on a scale this is bigger than Detroit last year up there. Because this is against what everybody is saying is a really good defense and a good team, and they are. Losing can be habitual, and you don't want it to ever get that way.
came eats game great last people played saying stretch year
He's always played the game with so much emotion. When you have a game like the other day, when you put everything into it and come up short, it eats away at you. Last year at 1-4, people were saying that was it, but he came back with a great stretch run. I wouldn't write him off just yet.
ball came crazy drops good handled hands hit impressed nervous sure
He hit the ball really clean. He has really good hands and drops the ball pretty low, which you need to do in Lambeau. I'm sure he'll be nervous like we all were our first game. But I'm pretty impressed that he came in and handled a pretty crazy day pretty smoothly.
came chance wore
I wore No. 4 at Cal. Obviously, I didn't have a chance when I came here.
felt fresh last second time year
I think last year with everything that happened, it was time for a fresh start. The second we got here this morning, it felt like the right place to be.
anybody causes deal decision everybody key lose player screw soon sort stupid tension
You just don't want anybody to screw it up, ... If you lose a key player to a stupid decision ... as soon as anybody that causes any sort of stir, then everybody has to deal with it. It just causes tension that you don't need.
break figure league players replace team year
Yeah, things happen. It's one of those things where you just kind of figure out what you need that year and go with it. Sometimes you can replace players with better players, sometimes you break even and sometimes you don't. You look around with any team in the league and that's the way it goes.
best fun locker overcome remember room rooms win
Man, it was a big win for us. I remember that locker room after the game, and it was one of the best locker rooms I've ever been in. It was fun to overcome something as a team.
recovery
This has nothing to do with B.J., because I think he's made the recovery and will be fine,
best
The guy's got nothing to prove. He's the best quarterback I've ever seen.
