Until those guys wore down, they battled with us. They kept it right there and any time we missed a few shots and they get a little run going, they were right back in the game.

We've had the two best practices in over a month, this week. They are more focused and more enthusiastic.

It's nice to host the first round. You are at your comfort level, you have your routines, it's your environment where you practice everyday, it's comfortable.
hang hats win
It's a lot different. This makes the win very sweet. If we could get the win, it's something we could really hang our hats on.

challenge great next playing tournament week
It's going to be a great challenge for us. It's really going to set us up for the tournament next week and get us used to playing back-to-back nights.
bad feeling hard
It's hard to tell. It's a pretty bad feeling right now.
beginning deep dig drive final hard push work year
We're going to go about business. We're going to work hard and see if we can't dig deep and find that drive we had at the beginning of the year and make that final push to make State.
basketball coached derby high school teams
We are going to try and have all of our teams coached by Derby High School basketball players. Right now about two-thirds of our teams are coached by players.

This is a not a team to be taken lightly.
