continuity gotten guys playing step
We haven't gotten any continuity back there with guys being comfortable playing together. It's tough. That can make you a step slower.
great guy line offensive people skill team
When you have a guy like that with a great offensive line and great skill people around him, he is going to thrive. I think it's more so their whole team than one player.
bowl definitely egos everybody fair guys player pro wants
We don't have any stars. We don't have a Pro Bowl player on defense, which I don't think is fair because we definitely have guys who play like it. There's no egos on our team. Everybody wants to play everybody.
chance chip excited gave given guys people proving relish wrong
A lot of people say I play with a chip on my shoulder, ... I don't have a chip. I'm in the NFL; there's no chip. I'm just excited to be playing, and excited to get the chance I've been given here. And I want to keep making the guys who gave me a chance look good, and the people who didn't look bad. I do relish that, but I've been proving people wrong for a long time.
guy hit key passes
Being physical, that's going to be the key for us. They are going to take those 2-yard and 5-yard passes ... But when a guy catches a 2-yard pass and they hit them in the mouth, they don't like that.
people proving wrong
I've been proving people wrong for a long time,
eliminate far game goal stop supposed type
You get the MVP out of the game and you are supposed to stop them, and we didn't. It wasn't really the type of game he wanted to be in. Our goal was to get the MVP out of there. Not as far as injury, but just eliminate him from the game and make them one-dimensional. That is what happened.
You just want to come to a winner.
approach best good reason
You know what you're going to get from him every week, and that's what's best for us. I know it's the reason why we're good this year. We take the same approach every week.
beat game goes hat phenomenal played worked
My hat goes off to No. 8. He played a phenomenal game and, single-handedly, he worked to beat us.
football needed offense seven win
We were down seven and needed to make a stop, give our offense a chance. We didn't do it. We fought, but this is not boxing. We've got to win football games.
excuse
It's the first game, but there's no excuses,
beauty coming fit great team
The beauty of it is that I'm coming to a team that's already great. I just want to fit in and be part of this great organization.
coming created instead start talking
It just hasn't come. I think they will come, and when they come, they'll start coming in bunches. But isn't it better to be talking about why haven't we created turnovers when we're 3-1, instead of why haven't we created turnovers at 0-4?
