blacks certain force forces government ignorance keeping poverty rampant respond today together
These blacks here today see the poverty and ignorance that is keeping us at a certain place. They know where the forces are, and they will come together and force our government to respond to the poverty and ignorance that's rampant in our country.
black blessing contribute family human inspiring kids spoiled
This show is a blessing because I know that the human family, the hip-hop family and the black family need to see this inspiring show. They're not rich, spoiled kids. They're kids who are going to contribute a lot to the world.
white black comfort
I ask everyone - white Hollywood and black Hollywood - to get outside of your comfort zone and make friends. That's where they're going to learn from each other, and that's where they're going to make better movies and make Hollywood a better place.
black integrating
My idea is to integrate black stars into mainstream stars. It hasn't been explored properly. That's what Im doing in Hollywood.
white rich-or-poor black
But rich or poor, black or white, none of us are entitled to anything.
black
[T]here's nobody Black in charge of anything in Hollywood.
smart people black
When I started the diamond business, no black person, period, was in it to do what we're trying to do to change the industry. So I like to do things that I see clearly that are in my, you know, scope. And then, I had to figure how I get talented or smart business people around me to execute. That's what I have to do.
thinking people black
I think Hollywood is incredibly segregated. I've never seen any place like it. The gatekeepers who are the most progressive activists inspired to make the world better... they're better people, right? They're segregated. It's self segregated in some cases, but there's nobody Black in charge of anything in Hollywood.
black environment break
No one wants to sell to just 12% of the population for the entire length of their careers. It creates a difficult and less-profitable environment. But Hollywood has lived with that limiting mantra, and only a few black stars have managed to break through.
people black integrated
86% of its audience was made up of people of color. That tells you that the full potential of many black stars won't be realized until their audiences are fully integrated.
ugly
Is that because I was ugly in my picture? ... I think it's because in person you get the energy.
authority heroes seeing
Seeing these heroes is inspiring. T.I. has authority.
fully god seconds state
To be awake is to be fully present, no noise, just you and God. Most of us only have seconds of full consciousness. To live in a state of Samadhi - that's what we're here for.
achieve believe changed charity comfort happiness job life people spend state thinking time
I don't spend any time thinking about my place in history, ever. If people say I changed things, it's nice, and I take it - but if I could give it to a charity it would be useful. I really believe now that my only job in life is to achieve a state of comfort and happiness.
