It's something we stress all the time. We work on different aspects of defense, especially team defense, where we help each other. The girls know they have to play physical and they need to communicate. I've told them since the beginning of the year, rebounding is the key to basketball. They're playing great defense right now.

She always worked hard in practice, she played hurt and sick, she responded positively to pressure during the games and as the point guard, her job was to make everyone around her better and she did that.

Their leadership and the way they carry themselves just meant so much to our team and they're really going to be missed.
