good playing teams time tough
They're a tough team. We couldn't let up at all. Every time we made a run, they made one right back at us. It was two good teams playing each other.
tough
They're a tough team. We couldn't let up at all.
definitely fall team
This is definitely a team I thought could go all the way. And for us to fall like this, it hurts.
beat build chance helps matched programs test
This is a test for us to see where we're going. We get a chance to beat one of the storied programs and try to build this program into being one of those. You don't really know what you could be matched up against. It could be anything. It helps us to go out and play them before we get into the (NCAA) tournament.
guys juniors led played seniors
Definitely. They had seniors and juniors that led them, and a lot of young guys that played big roles.
coach great job
Coach did a great job of getting us used to those situations.
complete goes pass plays rebound tough
The one thing about Marcus is that he goes out there and plays tough the whole game. He makes the right pass and the right shot. He can rebound and defend. He's a complete player.
fell team
I thought this team could have done more things. We just fell short.
best played team tournament
I think every team has lapses during the season. I think we have come out of this tournament with two wins, and I don't think we played our best basketball. I think that's yet to come.
marking
I was already marking down that game. Now, definitely.
came game good opens presence rest strong
He came on strong down the stretch. It's good to have that presence down there and it kind of opens up the rest of the game for us.
attention blocking complete great help pay playing pride scoring trying whatever whether win
I really don't pay that much attention to stats and stuff, but I do take a lot of pride in trying to be a complete player. I just try to do whatever I can to help us win games, whether it's scoring points, rebounding, blocking shots, passing, playing great defense, whatever it takes.
games past toughest
I haven't been past this, you know. But these were the two toughest games of my life.
beat talk west
If we beat West Virginia... Nah, I?m not going to even talk about that right now.
