It would be a lack of respect to stop now and say okay, I don't care any more what's happening to Ferrari,
Even though we started quite late today, we have still been able to do many laps this afternoon and have seen some good results. I hope that my input helps the team continue this development and progress further when we have the new car available next week.
Every change brings a new motivation, that is a fact,
To be honest, I was quite happy with the way the car went this afternoon, as we improved it quite a bit from the morning session. It behaved a little bit better than we had expected and we seem to be a bit more competitive than over the past couple of weekends, especially in race trim. Now we have to wait and see what the weather does tomorrow as that could be an important factor for the next two days.
We should be really happy with the reliability,
That was not smart racing or teamwork. He could have taken both of us out of the points.
I am continuing to learn with every day that I spend with the team and am very happy with the progress that we have made over the last two weeks.
But the rest is up to him to show his speed.
I would call him a friend, even if we don't telephone each other daily.
My target remains winning the drivers' title and to achieve that I felt that I needed a renewed motivation,
I feel very comfortable going into the first race.
I feel that the Honda is always very powerful and I'm very much looking forward to working with them.
But (Michael) immediately got the upper hand with the hot lap qualifying.
I told the team I would have no problem with anyone, so it is up to the team to decide what's the best option, ... Obviously there are various options in place but I have no further comment. I have no problems, Jenson is definitely a good guy, he is one of the friends I have in the paddock so it would definitely have been no problem, but it is BAR Honda that has to decide what is the best option alongside myself.
