backward bottom bowl continue forward game line matters people staying step super team
I don't think it matters that we were Super Bowl champions; we always have to come to a game and line up and play. Every team is good. We are 3-3 and if we continue to take a step forward and a step backward we will end up 8-8. . . . The bottom line is we are not doing the things we need to do. People aren't making their tackles, staying in their gaps.
continue lucky next ridiculous
Lucky we're in the bye week, ... because if we continue to play like that, we'd be 3-4 next week. It's ridiculous to go out there and play like that.
continue field game great moving practice progress
It's great to have him back out there moving around and doing things. Hopefully, he can continue to progress. It's great to have him on the practice field. To have him on the game field would be even better.
chances continue hopefully loss playoffs trend
Hopefully that's not a trend you want to continue to do because if you go win, loss, win, loss then you go 8-8 and your chances of making the playoffs aren't great,
advantage division forward good hope individual itself jets loses move opportunity record rival single speaks track wish
Eric's a good guy. You would wish him the best, but not in New York. If he's with the Jets and a division rival of ours, you hope he loses every single game. His track record speaks for itself and if you have an opportunity to move forward as an individual and for your family, you have to take advantage of it.
bit eight focus guys job needed since stretch tried
Everything wasn't in place to where it needed to be. Since then, this stretch of six, seven, eight ballgames, guys have tried to focus and do their job a little bit better.
decision defense dropping gap guy love matter opportunity people regardless rush talk tend totally whether
People tend to talk about the 3-4 and 4-3 like it's two totally different entities, and it's not, ... A defense is a defense, no matter if this guy has that gap and that guy has this gap. Somebody's an end, and somebody's a linebacker, regardless who you put in there. I'll be dropping and rushing, whether we're in a 3-4 defense or a 4-3. That's one thing that factored in my decision to come here. I'm going to get the opportunity to rush the passer, because that's what I love to do.
add drama
We didn't need to add all that drama to that game,
ahead challenge coming couple nowhere past performed tough
There's nowhere to go but up from how we performed. This is not how we've performed around here the past couple of years. We've got a tough challenge ahead of us this coming week, we've got to get ready, and we've got to get better.
bed beside feather pass shadow
You'll see a shadow pass overhead, you'll find a feather beside my bed.
plenty seen throw
It didn't throw us off. We've seen plenty of quarterbacks just like him.
few helped past perform practice together
I think just being able to practice and perform together has helped us these past few weeks.
coming improve next opponent opportunity tomorrow tough
We have an opportunity to look at the film tomorrow and try to improve on that. We got another tough opponent (the Falcons in Atlanta) coming up next week. We don't have much time. We got to improve and we got improve real fast.
confidence flying gives guys playing
Guys are flying around and making plays. Guys are playing better, and that gives you the confidence to be aggressive.
