Getting run support had to help, but I thought Albert did a super job. He got us out of a jam after we pulled within a run early and let our bats get going. And Davis has been good all year. They both did well.

Every year we have made it to the finals, it's like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders. But I am so at ease with this bunch. It reminds me of when my kids played all-stars (at Southeastern). Everybody is involved and that's what makes it special.

We haven't seen the win column in a while. I was disappointed with our mental approach for this game. We were a little lackadaisical today.

We're not playing each other over and over like we used to. It gives us some different teams to play and some good competition early in the season.

Both teams started off slow and then they put a bunch of hits together. We didn't battle back from that like we needed to.

Usually in games like this, mistakes will make the difference. We came out early and scored a couple of runs. We were able to put the ball in play and they made some mistakes.

We're still in the picture. Our backs are to the wall, but if we go out and take care of business, we've got a shot at the playoffs.

Autry had us fooled most of the game. He battled us and we didn't battle back.

I thought they did the right thing walking Tripp. I would have done the same thing in their position.

I was worried about this one. Having played them, twice, I didn't want us to take them for granted. I knew Brew Tech could hit the ball and was capable of making something happen.

I admit I'm very emotional about it. I'm just ready. I'm tired and have gotten to the point that it's time to settle down.
ball game good picked practice season seeing time
He started the season slow, but it picked up once we started this game in practice. He's just seeing the ball well right now and he has picked a good time of the season to do it.
