Mason got us in a hurry and did a good job defensively. We went 2 of 14 in the first eight minutes and we couldn't get over that hump.

One of things I think he showed today was his tremendous moxie. As good as he is with the ball, he made the plays to help us win this basketball game without it.

For every study hall a player missed since the start of the semester, he owes me a mile in six minutes. Some of the guys owe 18 or 19 miles. It takes a lot more than just showing up to practice to wear the Duquesne University uniform. It takes a lot more work.

I think all teams change throughout the year. You go through dips and peaks and valleys. Ours are more accentuated than most it seems. I think our basketball team has changed, and certainly James Madison has changed as well.
