We've been hitting the ball really well the last five or six games. We hit some balls hard, but right at people too. But today most of them found holes.

You don't have time to do that. If you feel sorry for yourself, that's another game you're going to lose. You can't take losses that hard or you get yourself in a hole and before you know it you've lost five of your last six. Then you have a reason to feel sorry for yourself.

Tonight we were able to hop on them early. Huntington put the ball in play, but we had good defense for once.

We're not perfect, but we're looking OK. We lost two seniors last year, but we've got seven starters coming back.

It was a good ball game. Both teams had opportunities early. We just happened to finally take advantage of them late.
bad biggest both good guys kids places program returning
The biggest thing, a lot of those kids pitching-wise did not have a lot of experience. We went 7-7 in the league, which isn't good, and most of the returning guys know that. They know the bad and the good of the program and most of those guys have been in both places - they've been through the 14-0 and the 7-7.
