condition drafted fair guy guys knew missed needs push rest talent team throw time wants
Everyone wants to push Braylon up. The guy has talent and we knew that when we drafted him. He missed some time and it wouldn't be fair to him and the rest of the guys on the team to throw him in there when he's not in the condition he needs to be in.
choices coaches forward guy hiring last moving next teams time wants
Everyone wants to get started and get moving forward for the next year. The more time it takes, the more they feel like they're getting behind. Particularly when other teams make choices by hiring coaches and they don't want to be the last guy standing.
catch caught deal games gets needs playing prepare time understand whenever whether
Whenever Braylon gets here, he's going to have to try and catch up. We are going to be playing games and we are not going to have time to try to catch him up the way he needs to be caught up because we have to prepare for an opponent. He's just going to have to deal with that and understand that. That's just the way it is whether it's Braylon Edwards or whoever.
blood bone cast determine fact flow good gotten healed maybe piece somewhat supply taking time wrist
The blood supply and blood flow into the wrist is somewhat minimal. He has a piece of a bone in there that was taking a long time (to heal). It's gotten better because of the fact that he's had a cast on. After the season, they're going to take a real good look at it and determine if they need to go in and do something or if it's healed enough to maybe he can do enough without the cast.
best cause frame great guys mind performance player role rumors shooting start thinking time waste
It's rumors like that which cause guys to start thinking about what their role is. I shouldn't have to waste time shooting down these rumors, but I do it to keep my player in a great frame of mind so he can give his best performance on the field.
chance confidence experience field gain game hopefully improve improvement opportunity result time until
(The young guys) will have an opportunity to improve their game with the reps that they get, ... Sometimes you won't get a chance to see that improvement on the field until something happens. I don't know who that will be, but hopefully all of them will gain experience and confidence as a result of the time they get this week.
hopefully miss next time
He'll probably miss the year. Hopefully this time next year, he'll be on the field.
knocked measure next respond season time
I'm not going to measure a season by one game. When you get knocked down, how do you get back up and respond the next time out?
best field whoever
We have to feel like whoever they put on the field is the best in our division.
business conditions confidence good helped lifted nfl produced production sure tackle
The punter did good and for him to go out in the conditions and punt the way he did was good. He made a good tackle on the return. I'm sure his confidence is lifted after that performance. He's been in the NFL and it's a production business and he went out there and produced and helped us to win.
best chance figure gives identify players turns
We identify the players we have to do something about and then figure how we're going to do it. If it turns out to be what we did in New England, it will be because it gives us the best chance with who we have.
ahead backup couple fill game good guys somebody sunday tackle valuable work
We're going to work out a couple guys and see if we can find somebody to fill that spot. That's why it's good that the game is on Sunday and not (yesterday). I think that the backup center-guard is not as valuable as the backup tackle spot. So if you can get a backup tackle that you like and that has some upside, I think you can go ahead and make that move.
asking block guys letting miss somebody
I've thought about the possibility of not asking those guys to block at all, ... When we try to block, that's when we get the penalties. I've thought about not asking them to block and just letting Dennis making somebody miss on his own.
bad feeling gut
It would have to be my gut feeling. If I got a real bad feeling about the way it was going and I wanted to make a change, that's what it would be.
