advantage gave took
We gave them way more opportunities than they needed, and they took advantage of them.
finish season
The season's not over. We've got to finish the season off right.
near nowhere season
The season is nowhere near over. We just can't go undefeated. That's the only thing.
bag control gets guy home leaves rest study sure takes tapes total week
He's in total control. He's the guy that you see when he leaves every week he's got a bag of tapes with him. The rest of us get DVDs, Jake gets a bag of tapes that he takes home to study to make sure that he can put all of us in the right position.
buddy danny focus life night opened remember
I remember (Clerk of the Court) Buddy Irby opened the courthouse at night for us. It was round-the-clock. In my life I've never put as much focus on something as I did on the prosecution of Danny Rolling.
buys drive hope lets
I hope he buys a Rolls-Royce and lets me drive it.
beach hung night showing
I hung out with him (Tuesday) night. We hung out at the beach (Tuesday), and he was showing me around. This is his turf. He's well-loved around here, and it's well-deserved.
amazing game guy guys league learn loved playing separated shoulder toughness
I loved playing with (Zimmerman). The guy had a separated shoulder in a game and didn't give up a sack. It's amazing. He's an amazing player, and one that young guys in the league can learn from from a know-how and toughness standpoint.
bringing hearing people tired
I'm tired of hearing that (expletive). The people that keep bringing that up, tell them to find something else to write about.
game games guys hold injuries season seven together until work
Injuries are part of the game. We always put 11 out there. And that is going to be our 11 for that play or that day. That's all we can work with. We can't work with who's down or whatever, we just have to hold it together until the guys come back. The season is long. We're just seven games in, and we've got a long way to go.
root trying
I'm trying to get me a 'Terrible Towel' before the night's out to root for the Steelers.
afraid envy great hopefully huge matter opportunity run stopped team
That's a huge accomplishment for them to be able to do that. I envy what they've done. It's not a matter of being jealous. I envy it. I'm not afraid of it. At the same time, it's a great opportunity to hopefully be the team that can say we stopped the run they've had.
atmosphere league low playoff rethink types win
If you're going to do anything in this league in the playoffs, in January, you have to win these types of games. This is a playoff game, this is a playoff atmosphere and when you come out on the low end of it you really got to rethink what you're doing and how you're doing it and go back to work.
guys
I just see the young guys come in every year, they want what you have, to go where you've gone. You know it isn't forever, but you want to keep going.
