We were just talking about how baseball can chew you up if you let it. One day this can happens and the next day can be totally opposite. That won't happen, though, if you hang your head and feel sorry for yourself. You have to come back and get after it.

They're a real good team. Right now, it looks like Owatonna and Dakota are the teams to beat in the league.
air ball dropped lost pop sudden
(Albert Lea) lost a ball in the air and dropped a pop up. All of the sudden we were up 6-0.
nice throw time
Zach pitched pretty well. It was nice to see him throw that well in his first time out.

Defensively, we had the six errors, but we were attempting to make plays. You have to look for bright spots. Our pitchers threw strikes and we only struck out once.
again bats errors hurt swung walks
Offensively, we swung the bats really well. We just had too many mistakes. Walks and errors have hurt us before and they hurt us again today.

He's grown up as a player and a team leader. He played well on defense all day and still had the energy to get that last goal.

He just works hard and never says much. I'm just very proud and happy for him.

This was one of our better games. We've been working on getting to certain spots and tonight was the first night we were in the right spots.
lack ready shows
It's real disappointing. I think it shows a lack of preparation and a lack of concentration. We just weren't ready to play.
forgot kids sandwiches worried
The kids were more worried if we had mustard for sandwiches before we even got out of the gym. They forgot about it.
