huge minutes points weekend
This is a huge weekend for us. We're going to have to play 180 minutes if we want to come out of there with the points that we want. At this point of the season, those are all the things that need to be done anyway.

At this point of the season, I don't think magic numbers matter. Of course it would be nice to have a playoff spot already wrapped up. Our focus is just on beating these teams every time we play them.

It's time to walk the walk. Everyone has a clean slate now. There's no more first and eighth place. It's two teams going out and trying to win four games in seven tries. It's almost a trial by fire. Playoff players will stand out and those that aren't will stand out too.

As far as playoffs, I don't think there's a better sport than playoff hockey. It's do or die. Nothing else matters but the 60 minutes you're out there. If you don't get it done that time you've got 60 more minutes the next night.
