I like what I saw in all the freshmen. This is my first real recruiting class, and they are all good guys. It's great to see them perform so well.

Well, we just aren't competitive without our top two players. Unfortunately, they got sick at the same time and we had to just slide everyone up.

I was hesitant at first to put Barrett and Jared together because they are the same type of player, but their unique attacking style has been very successful.

Losing Jared was the toughest part of all. We had to use a different first doubles team and had to move everyone else up. It was a real deflating start.

When you play tougher teams, not only do you get better but you get used to playing that high-level competition and have a better chance at winning.

We're much improved in conditioning. We're working the players really hard, and the fitness level has increased significantly, it really shows up in the doubles.

It's a big deal, a huge deal. To beat teams like Stony Brook and Boston College, we need to put them on their heels with our doubles play. We need to keep the energy up and we'll be successful.

We beat them relatively easy last year, but they will be a tougher test next week at home. If we play well and smart, we can win.

They start three seniors, a real experience edge. They had just come off a win against a tough team in Army, and combine that at playing with home, the odds were not in our favor.
