felt good great honor humbling next past players reach surrounded team
It's a real honor and a humbling thing to reach that goal. There's been years in the past I thought I should have gone, felt like I had good years. Part of it is being on a good team and being surrounded by good guys. ... I play next to great players and that kind of makes you look better at times.
ball plays ran three threw
When it comes down to it, they threw the ball and ran the ball on three plays better than we did.
genuinely grateful knowing loves thankful town
We're genuinely grateful for our fans. That's why we went out to say thanks, too. I'm really thankful being part of this team, especially knowing how this town loves the Seahawks.
field football four great remember running sit spread wide
With three-receiver sets, you spread the field. Sometimes, we'll do some run-and-shoot. We'll sit back with one back and four wide receivers and do that. I remember the run-and-shoot in Atlanta. We always had a 1,000-yard rusher every year. We had a 1,000-yard rusher because we spread the field. There are running lanes open, and Shaun is a great open-field runner.
assume history last sit teams
Those were two different teams last year. It's a new season, a new team. Yeah, we have a history with these guys, (but) they can't sit here and say, 'Well, we did it last year, so we'll be able to do it this year.' And we can't sit here and assume that we'll be able to get it done.
company happy high team winning
A lot of it comes from the team winning and things like that. But he's in some pretty high company now and I'm happy for him. I'm happy to be part of it.
coaches either impressed motivate negative team trying
A lot of coaches motivate by being negative all the time. A lot of coaches motivate by trying to be a players' coach, and everything. I don't think he does either of those. I've always been impressed for his feel for the team and what to say in situations.
feels guys high hugging jumping stuff winning
A lot of pent up stuff got released. Big sweaty guys were hugging each other. A lot of tears. A lot of screaming. A lot of guys jumping around. A lot of high fives. This is what winning the big one feels like. And this was a big game.
came game plays
They made plays and we didn't. That's what it came down to. On game day, it's who makes the most plays.
blank came care excuse execute felt half playing point scoring second today
They executed better today than we did. That's point blank what it comes down to. There's no excuse for us only scoring 14 points. I don't care who we're playing or where we're playing. Hey, we came down here to Jacksonville. I felt like we could have won. We should have won, but we didn't execute in the second half at all.
chance easy good hell people win
This isn't easy for any of us. We thought we had a good chance to win this game. Hell with the people who didn't think we did. We made too many mistakes, that's all.
best guys high jumping league team win
Some tears. Some guys screaming. Some guys jumping around. A lot of hugs. A lot of high fives. This is a big game. A team that's one of the best in the league and to win it the way we did is a big deal.
expected guys last
Now, it's like last week. Guys were like, 'We won. We expected to win. Now, who's next?'
magic talked work
I think we have a lot of pride, and I think we work well together. There's no magic here. It's never really talked about, and if it is talked about, it's only in passing.
