James Robert Douglas "Rob" Bironaswas an American football placekicker. He holds the NFL record for field goals in a single game, set in 2007 against the Houston Texans. As soon as the opportunity opened up and I knew I was getting a shot, I was jumping on it. The opportunity to be competing for a job in the NFL without an established veteran being in front of you, you can't ask for more.
That's obviously a plus, and guys appreciate that, knowing they don't have to cover the whole kick.
It was awkward. I didn't get the full ball; I got under it just a bit.
I actually heard about it last year by my special teams coach in Pittsburgh. We practiced it a little bit in training camp this year, but never quite that deep.
