A person who brings out the greatness of his friend himself gains importance.
criticized full path sinful treading
A person treading on the sinful path is not only criticized but is also full of blemishes.
lies lies-and-lying short speaks
An untruthful person speaks lies and as a result, is short lived.
blessed egotist god humble seldom
An egotist can never be humble that is why he is seldom blessed even by god.
blessed devotion gets happiness religious spends time worship
A religious person, who spends his time in devotion and worship gets blessed with happiness and prosperity.
attain flame ignorant knowledge unless
An ignorant person can never attain knowledge unless the flame of knowledge is enkindled in his mind.

A scholar is always praised. He who attains knowledge also acquires capabilities to vanquish his enemies.
cannot expect gain ignorant scholar sit
A scholar cannot sit with an ignorant person and expect to gain by the meeting.
becomes path result scholar
A scholar always treads on the path of righteousness and as result becomes successful.
