Relationships are always worth restoring.
The death, and the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus happened over three days. Friday was the day of suffering and pain and agony. Saturday was the day of doubt and confusion and misery. But Easter, that Sunday, was the day of hope and joy and victory. You will face these three days over and over and over in your lifetime. And when you do, you'll find yourself asking, as I did, three fundamental questions: Number one, what do I do in my days of pain? Two, how do I get through my days of doubt and confusion? Three, how do I get to the days of joy and victory? The answer is Easter.

I'm not a policymaker, I'm not a pundit. In fact, I don't have any interest in it. It's not on my agenda.
In the Old Testament, it says that if you have the power to do something good, then you have to do it. You're not to avoid helping somebody in their time of need.
If you don't live by priorities, you'll live by pressures. Either you determine what's important in life or other people will determine it for you.
When you get to heaven God won't ask you why you weren't more like Billy Graham. He may ask you why you weren't more like you. Get in touch with who you are. Lead with your own unique style. Be yourself and let God use you.
Americans spend more on beer than they do on books. No wonder their stomachs are bigger than their brains.
Help us, oh God, to remember that we are Americans. United not by race or religion or by blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all. When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you, forgive us.
Great people are just ordinary people with an extraordinary amount of determination. They simply don't know how to quit. They just keep on 'keepin' on'.
