feeling fought panic puck whatsoever
I really like the way we fought back after that first goal. There was no panic whatsoever and I just think they had a feeling the puck was going to go in.
catch faster fear good great knew panic pass played situation stick vision worry
I never thought he played out of panic or fear or worry because he always knew he could go faster (and) catch somebody. He had such great vision and good skills. He'd pass it over a stick, under a stick ? he just could do anything the situation called for.
calling cheap hitting marginal philosophy sure
I'm not sure it was a cheap shot. It was marginal hitting from behind, and you can tell by the philosophy that he (the referee) had that he wasn't calling very much.
beat best cry fourth line rallying stretch team
If you think back to the stretch where we got beat up so much as a team our best line was our fourth line. Kind of the rallying cry around this team was that line and how they've played.
game played work
If there hadn't been an injury, they probably would have played every game together. I like the way they work off each other.
finding team
If there?s on thing that characterizes this team it?s finding a way to win.
playing
He's really playing well. He stabilized us (when we were struggling).
locker room saw stick until walked
I didn't know anything about it until I walked in the locker room one day, and I saw a stick in the garbage. I was going to take it out. Then I was notified that they're there for a reason.
allowed close guy mind steps
He (the referee) told me that he's allowed to play it when he steps off the bench. In his mind, he thought the guy was close enough.
ability best compete good matter practice talents warrior whether
His ability to compete is his best talent, and his talents are good ? they're really good. He's just got a warrior mentality, and he does it every day. He's one of those really, really good players, and it doesn't matter to him whether it's practice or a game.
goal last type year
The goal that Fretter scored was the type of goal he got last year that he hasn't been able to get this year.
last tremendous
The crowd's been tremendous over this last stretch.
best certainly despite dismiss hockey ice interest meet parting program team wish
A.J. did not meet the expectations for a student-athlete in the ice hockey program at MSU. It was in the program's best interest to dismiss him from the team immediately. Despite parting at this time, I certainly wish A.J. well in his hockey career.
created defensive drew family happy identity magnitude nobody numbers program talk
The magnitude that this family has had on this program ... well, you could talk about them every day. I'm so happy for Drew because he's created his own identity here. His (offensive) numbers are growing, and as a defensive forward, there's nobody better.
