anytime played road win
We've played better than we've played tonight. (But) anytime you go on the road and win in this league, it's good.
allowed ball understand whether
J.J. was terrific. He got comfortable and whether we allowed him to or not, he got going and they understand to get the ball in his hands.
fine goes jumping leaves line mind slow trouble
It is a fine line between where you don't want him to not be aggressive. But then again, I don't mind if he leaves his feet. As long as he goes up in his area. Where he has been getting in trouble is he is jumping in to people. He just has to slow down.
couple guys rick upset
I think that Rick would have to have upset a couple guys and have them quit,
bus dallas nice opening point tournament travel traveling trip
What you like about opening the tournament in Dallas is the travel. Everyone's had to do a lot of traveling at this point of the year. It's nice to just take a bus trip up I-35.
happened tougher year
He's been through tougher things. What he went through a year ago, what happened (against A&M) pales to that.
call definitely great happened
He's definitely stronger. He's always had great stamina. I don't know that I would ever call what happened to him a blessing, but he made the most of it, I know that.
skill
He's got such a feathery touch. He's physical, but it's his skill that really impresses you.
game separates
His versatility is what separates him. There's not really a part of the game he can't handle.
gotten hurt playing totally watching
He's a totally different player. I think if he hadn't gotten hurt, we wouldn't be watching him right now. He would be playing in the NBA.
anywhere terrific
He's a terrific guard. He can play anywhere at any level.
asked great job
He's been great to me. He's always asked me what we could do to make my job better.
desire four goes hire shown son though whatsoever
If it goes well in the league, even though my son has never shown any desire whatsoever to coach, ... In about four years if he doesn't have a job, I am going to hire him.
demanding selfish start touches
He does need to get more selfish and start demanding the ball. If you want the touches then you need to go and get them.
