five four games great stayed win
This was a great win for us. We've been struggling, injured, with four games in five nights. But we stayed with it and got it done.
against effort fourth games gave ron shame somebody took wasted
I thought he was unbelievable. He did everything you could do. It's a shame we wasted the effort he gave us and then Ron took over in the fourth quarter. I don't know how much better somebody can play, two games back-to-back, especially against that team.
dangerous exactly games giving halftime second shot stop talked team third win
We talked at halftime that this was a dangerous team if you let them get back in it in the third quarter, and that's exactly what we did. We just couldn't stop them in the second half. They shot over 70 percent. You're not going to win very many games giving that up.
games road win
We're going to have to win some games on the road if we're going to get in the playoffs.
eight games liked
When you're eight games under .500, things don't look very good. But I liked the way we finished.
attention detail games guys hurting last offense passing paying playing seven teammates trusting trying
We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.
bench five four games great guys needed nights people stayed tough win
It was a great win for us. We've been struggling. Four games in five nights is tough and our guys stayed with it and got the win. We didn't have some of our people on the bench and we really needed those guys to be consistent.
attention detail efficient energy games guys halftime hurting last level offense passing paying playing seven teammates tonight trusting trying
Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. Our offense was efficient tonight. We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.
answers games
It's disappointing. It's just one of those games where we really didn't have any answers for them.
attack consistent defend effort execute finish games rest road within year
You've got to defend and you've got to execute when you're on the road and we haven't been doing it. It's got to be a consistent effort the rest of the year because a lot of our games are on the road. I think we can get there. We have the team. We have the wherewithal within the games to attack people. But we have to finish games.
bad
When you have a wide-open look, bad things happen. That's the way it goes.
basketball coach good talk
We always talk about basketball stuff, ... She'll talk to me about the practice, what she observed. She's very knowledgeable. She's been very good as a coach up there. They really do play hard, do the right thing.
accustomed anybody beat good since team
When you look at the team since we made the trade, we were in games, but we just couldn't get over the hump. The team's really getting accustomed to what we've got to do to win. We think we can beat anybody at this point. ... There's expectations for us now, and that's a good thing. When there's no expectations, it's no fun. It's drudgery.
definitely players playing struggled unusual
We've definitely struggled so far, ... It's not that unusual when you have players that haven't been playing that long together.
