against blues chiefs defend last match night threw tough week
We had to get up for a tough match last week against the Blues and we had to get up again this week. The Chiefs threw everything at us and we had to defend all night but we got away with a win.
blues composure guys half kept level points threw
The Blues threw everything at us and got points on us in the first half but the guys kept their composure and we really went up a level to come away with the win.
defend threw
They threw everything at us. We had to defend very well at the end.
games needed threw win
They threw everything at us. Defenses are going to win you games and that's what we needed at the end.
chiefs four points threw
The Chiefs threw everything at us and to get the four points was great.
certainly halftime harder hold onto ourselves realized second work
We didn't feel like ourselves in the first half. We realized at halftime that we had to hold onto the ball, work harder and we did that in the second half. But it certainly wasn't polished.
ourselves
We didn't feel like ourselves in the first half.
coughing defending ended kept pill
We just kept coughing up the pill and ended up defending the whole time.
chance knew
We knew we couldn't give them the chance to get their tails up.
couple finished games happy last lead position won
We're happy we won well after having a big lead at halftime. We've been in the same position in the last couple of games and we haven't finished it off.
both hits mistakes positions scoring teams
I think there were mistakes from both teams when they got into scoring positions but there were also a lot of big hits out there and that probably contributed.
behind believed bit easy four held panic points scoreboard together
Four points out of that...we've got to be a little bit happy. We didn't make it easy for ourselves. When you get behind on the scoreboard the thing is not to panic and we held together and believed to could do it.
experience lets past
He's pretty good. He lets you know where you stand, which is good. From the experience I've had in the past he's been pretty consistent.
boys defended defending heap keeping possibly pressure quite rather
I'm relieved, to be quite honest. We got put under a heap of pressure and the boys defended well but possibly we concentrated too much on defending rather than keeping on attacking.
