amazing expecting hit indiana injuries situations spot talented
It's amazing how situations can change. I don't know what Indiana was expecting to have at receiver, but I know they are very talented at that spot now. We thought we would be, but injuries have really hit us hard.
both might rule seeing
It might go to the first game. I would like for it to be decided, but I wouldn't rule out both of them seeing action.
players program resign rumors trying turn walk
There are some rumors out there that I'm going to resign at some point, ... Well, that ain't happening, OK? I'm not going to walk out on the players that I recruited and this program that I'm trying to turn around.
block pads pass run start until
We're just working different combinations to see which one is going to be the best. You can't tell with linemen until you get pads on and start to run block and pass block and get all the assignments.
ability badly care fans game impacts improved judged judging kept people starting struggling team year
We're judged every game we play. A lot of people who do the judging don't care about injuries. They don't care about anything that impacts your ability to go out and perform. I feel very badly for our team and for our fans that we couldn't have kept the nucleus we had starting the year out intact, because I think it was an improved lot. But now we're struggling to show we are improved,
played
We're a young team, and we played like it,
consistent continuity given implement nice oregon plan reaffirm time turned worked
The continuity there is what turned Oregon into a consistent winner. It was nice to see that and reaffirm that we actually did know what we were doing, we did have a plan that worked and were given the time to implement that.
battery extent pryor quite results serious tests time trouble until
We still don't know the extent of Mills' injury. We don't think it is serious at this point, but we just don't know for sure. Pryor has had trouble with dehydration and cramps. He's out for the time being until we get the results of quite a battery of tests he will go through to find out why he's cramping.
almost bad beyond injury team
We're a team that has been decimated by the injury bug. I've had bad injury years, but this one is almost beyond comprehension.
blame good great learn talent tim
Tim will get more comfortable, ... He's a great talent, but he's a freshman. He'll be a good punter, and he'll learn from it. He was nervous, and I can't say that I blame him. I was nervous, too.
ends four good guys promise taken tight
You look at the tight ends we had out here practicing. We had four guys who have never taken a snap, and I promise you we're going to be pretty good at tight end.
great guys job miss point school summer track
We'll miss Tony. He's one of our breakaway guys and I'm disappointed for him because he got a 3.5 (grade point average) during summer school and has done a great job getting back on track academically.
definitely good line pass protect throws
We definitely need a pass rush. IU throws well and they've got a good line to protect them.
ball continues defense fly score
The defense continues to fly around and be physical, but you've got to be able to score when you have the ball like that.
