In our league, the teams play quicker and set faster so it is hard to defend. We have to raise our tempo, we're not quite there yet.

It was the worst nightmare ever. Especially after winning the first two games.

We had a mental dysfunctional breakdown. It was not pretty. After game two, it was like another volleyball team was out there. The passing was terrible and our defense didn't keep us in the game.

We just can't get over the Clovis/Clovis West hump. We can play with them but they have to prove it themselves, it's going to be a battle every time we face them.

We were there neck and neck with them. We got a few bad calls and they (Clovis West) ran off with it.

We kind of knew it before the game because of some of the opponents they faced, we had played also. They only had one good player in the middle.

Though it looked like the same team we faced the first time, they had a lot more kills in this game then they did in the last one.

Facing better competition would have helped us for league. I think the real competition was in Santa Barbara.

It was a good experience for the team. The timing was good and I plan for us to do it again next season.

It was a great match. Our players really rose to the occasion. They (Dear Valley) were really great competition.
