It was good because everybody got to play. In a game like this it's good to change the line up so other league coaches won't know what to expect.

They were okay. We knew they were good in the past, so it took a little while to get adjusted but once we did we pulled away.

I told our team that game could either make us or break us. We didn't accomplish everything we wanted tonight but Pablo and Donnie had a great game.

We are a little too confident right now. When we get to league, we won't be able do that because of the competition there.

We started off losing game three but we battled back.

I thought we were gonna take it. We went up 2-0 and Donnie (Hansen) had some monster blocks to start off with.

They knew that we didn't have great passers. And we couldn't take advantage of them missing their top hitter.

They played their hearts out all weekend. The players really stepped up this tournament, including Donnie Hansen, who showed great court awareness and Pablo Segura did well in the tournament.

The way we started out it made the first game almost look like a fluke. But then we settled down and played better.
full monday practices starting team week
I think (the break) had something to do with us starting off flat. We did have practices during the week off, but Monday was the first full practice because we had the whole team there.

Pleasant Valley had a played a game before us and they weren't playing starters in that game. We had watched them and maybe got a little too confident before the game.

He could do no wrong in that game. He came ready to play with a great all-around game.

It has to help us because I don't see us playing any worse than we did there. We looked sloppy out there at times, we couldn't set or pass.

Clayton Valley is better than Clovis and Clovis West. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.
