consistent defense felt game good great knew line offense offensive passing points running special time training win
We knew we had something special in training camp, just the way our defense was running around, and we had such a good offensive line. Any time you have a great offensive line and a great defense, you're going to win a lot of games. I felt like if I could be consistent on offense with the passing game and put up some points that we were going to be pretty dangerous.
add against bit chances defense game good passing running team
Our team is really good with our defense and running game, so if I can add a little bit of the passing game to it, I like our chances against anyone.
five four hurt knew months running start took
It was tough, but when I got hurt, I knew it was going to be a long process. It took about four or five months to start running. Once I started running I didn't feel like I was rehabbing as much as just working out.
complete defense definitely few glad good growth offense open pass plays running wins
I'm definitely glad I had a complete game, just for my growth in this offense. Defense wins championships and we've got a good running game. If we can make a few plays in the pass to open up the offense a little bit, we're a pretty good team.
complete defense excited good running team trying
I'm not trying to be Mr. Whatever. I'm trying to play my role, and the team is excited we have such a good defense and running game. We've established that we're a complete team.
fine force line naturally running
I'm going to naturally make plays. I'm not going to force anything. There's a fine line between just being a gunslinger and running the offense. I'd like to be 90% running offense, with that other 10% being my own personality.
ball bigger moved plays run
We started to run the ball pretty well and moved the ball pretty decently. We had some plays we could have made for a bigger first quarter, but we're still working. It's still early.
drive figure great played
What can I say? The Panthers played a great game, (and) it's just going to drive me to figure out how to be a better quarterback.
mixed saw tape
We mixed it up a little bit. We saw a lot of tape where we could do some things down the field.
game practiced ready
We all didn't play the game that we practiced and got ready for. What can I say?
defense great guy offense perfect runs terrific
With a guy like Moose, you don't have to make a perfect throw. He runs great routes, he's got terrific hands, and he's a guy the opposing defense has to respect. He just makes our whole offense better.
extremely hurt mad
Obviously, we're extremely mad and hurt and (ticked) off.
people played realize since slot
Since he hasn't played a ton, people don't really realize his speed. When you put him in the slot and get him on a safety, it's a mismatch every time.
ball bit catch game great pick talked worry
Like I said after the game, he's going to catch the ball 99 out of 100 times. He'll pick his game up. He talked to me a little bit after the game and apologized and I just said, 'Don't worry about it, you're a great receiver.' I know he's going to make the play.
