People were really scattered all over, and Tom Searls Sr. (who had moved from Chelsea) asked the Grange if they could hold a meeting here,

The first few years they'd have a ball game. They'd choose up sides and people would play,
I think it will continue, ... But you have to remember, there wasn't as much to do back then. But I think it will keep right on.
