It really doesn't matter at this point. I mean, it would've been nice to go down there. But I'm looking at the positives. I'm going to get some rest.
I took advantage, I calmed down and ran the team. Everything was clicking tonight.
I told the guys that I was proud of them. As short-handed as we are right now, I don't know if I can ask any more of them in this situation.
That's the attitude that I'm trying to bring to this team, ... I'm trying to instill it in everybody, even the guys who are veterans on this team. We're coming in to win games, and we're coming in to try to make the playoffs. We shouldn't settle for anything less.
With my dad, he's just working so hard to take care of me and give me all the things I needed or wanted,
In ninth grade, I figured he maybe could finally beat me, ... In 10th grade, I knew he could beat me. So I stopped playing him then because whenever anyone asked 'Who won the last game?' I always wanted to be able to say 'I did.'
In ninth grade, I figured he maybe could finally beat me,
This showed if we don't take care of the ball against really good teams, we're not going to be successful.
Our chances are great. We are a great team.
J.R.'s got some hops, so it was really fun playing out there with him. He's part of the family, and the whole event signifies our Carolina family.
I was hitting on all cylinders. I had that fight in me. I wanted to win. We should have won the game. Once again, we had the ball in our hands.
I was fairly decent, I could have done better. Jason Kidd came at me one time with that crossover and that's an extremely quick move. That's J-Kidd, he's been doing it all his life. I told him 'great move.' That's all I could say.
We were staying in the game, but when (Jefferson) got hot, he spread the lead. They took it up to 15 and 18. We'd cut it back down but he'd come down and hit two big threes. He had it going tonight. We had no answer for him. We played great defense, and he still was hitting it.
Joining the EA Sports team is a great way to cap off my college career. Growing up, I played EA Sports games all the time and to now be the spokesman for 'NCAA March Madness 06' is incredible.
