We're just not putting ourselves in good positions. We had good looks, but unfortunately, the confidence wasn't there after we missed. And one thing is Lemont always plays very aggressive man-to-man defense. They do a nice job. They're very quick and they switch on screens, so they take away that part of your game.

Cara has been solid. She's one of the girls who leads us in assists, she's shooting better in terms of threes, and she has had a nice season.

She has soft hands. When we look to get the ball to her in good spots, she's going to be able to finish quite a bit.

(Moline) came out with some big kids and ran the ball down our throats their first two drives. In the second half, I think we were just fresher. James Hoffman is going to be an outstanding sophomore running back.

We had a good first half and still were in the game after three quarters. We couldn't get any closer in the fourth quarter, though.

It's a couple of things. Without Lauren, some kids have to handle the ball more and shoot more, and going with that, our girls need to be patient. We rushed things. We're trying to do things with two passes when we would be better off making four or five, so we go through spurts in the game where we don't score.

Overall, I was pleased. I talked to Allison the other day about being more aggressive looking for shots, and we got the ball inside a lot to Selfridge. They did a nice job there, so that's encouraging.
