coaching experience great head needs none randy ready until
Randy would do a great job, he's ready to be a head coach. I don't think he has a weakness. He just needs the opportunity. None of us had head coaching experience until we got our first chance.
chance chip energy great high impressed plays post
I think he has a chance to be really good. I was probably more impressed in person than I was on tape. He's explosive, and he really plays with a high energy and kind of a chip on his shoulder, which you have to on that post spot. I think he has a great future.
best grant great richard timing wish
Obviously, the timing of this is not great for us, but we will grant Richard his request. We wish him the best of luck.
care charged effort great imagine
We need to have a great effort defensively and take care of the basketball. I can't imagine us not being emotionally charged up to play them.
great hate number opportunity situations worked
It's a great opportunity for him. It's one of those situations where he's worked his butt off for a number of years. He's very deserving. We hate to see him go, but that's how it works.
bought gotten great message players preached
If he's preached (balance), he's done a great job. The message has gotten through and his players have bought in.
kid liked looking signed
We were looking at another kid on that team, who signed with Cal. But we liked Luca better.
point
Offensively, I'd say he's more of a point guard. Defensively, I'd say he's better off guarding a two.
discipline head players retain variety
As the head coach, I retain the right to discipline my players for a variety of reasons.
attack goes heart honest knees scared sort
To be honest with you, I thought he was having a heart attack this morning. He went down and had shortness of breath. He kind of goes down to his knees and I thought he was having some sort of heart issue. I think it scared everybody.
ability control starts talking trying understand work
We really need to work on the things that we can control. It all starts defensively. We can control our effort, our talking and our ability to understand what we are trying to do out there. We need to just get back to the basics.
above diego everybody head obviously san shoulders state wide
I think San Diego State is obviously head and shoulders above everybody else with their experience. And after that, I think it is wide open,
creates improved player problems skilled
I think he is the most improved player in the league. He is so much more skilled offensively and creates a lot of problems inside.
amazing anybody job league sustain
I think he's done an amazing job to keep it all together, especially without Welch. I don't think anybody in this league thought they could sustain it.
