There are a lot of things I could have done better to help this team. I take full responsibility. I feel I let Bob Weiss down as a coach. He was a guy you could trust and count on. My heart goes out to him.
It may sound like a small thing, but I think Bob is less concerned about things that don't have to do with basketball,
I think we've had a perfect complement of learning basketball and getting in shape. My description of Bob is he's the head coach, he respects us out there on the floor and we do our job.
If you're asking me and anybody else on this team, who you'd like to have as coach (before the season), Bob is the natural choice. He was a joy to be around and I wanted to win games for him. I think there were times when I put too much on my shoulders to make things better. In this case, we all let Bob down.
The shots were there for me tonight. It was a fun game to play because it went back and forth.
People decide if they want to be led, they'll be led. If they decide they don't want to be part of the system, they'll buck it.
