It's definitely tough. It's different. I'm really behind on a lot of stuff. I'm taking it one day at a time right now.
everybody excited finally finishing focusing kentucky knows playing
Everybody is excited because we're finally playing well, we're playing together. We're playing Kentucky basketball. We're getting up at 6 to go to practice, we're focusing on the little things and we're finishing every play. Everybody knows that's how we've got to play.

We're happy to be here. We're just focused. We've got our game face on.

We were celebrating Rupp's Runts today, so Coach wanted to play like the Runts.

We were all happy for him. Any time a guy comes out and asks us for help and support, it makes us realize what we need to be doing as teammates to help him.

This just made Vanderbilt's season. We're taking everybody's best shot and we're not punching back; that's the problem.
feeling needed played spots step winning won
This is a step forward. We played well in spots, so we just need to make those spots longer. But we won a game, and we're back on the right track. We needed to get that feeling of winning again.
came earlier games jeff lost national remembered team telling won
Jeff Sheppard came and told us the same thing earlier in the year. He was telling us about how that 1998 team lost in Maui and how they lost some games at home. But no one remembered that when they won the national championship.
hoping safe
I was just hoping we'd find a way to win. I feel real safe when Rondo has the ball.
felt florida national start though
I always felt we were a national contender. Even though we're not in the rankings, I feel no one should want to play us in the tournament. . . . We'll start with Florida and go from there.
bigger issues rather starting
Starting is great, but I'd rather be in at the end of the game. There are much bigger issues than that.
blame heard playing sitting
I heard it. I don't blame them. If I was sitting up there, I would have booed us, too. We weren't playing with energy.
changed regret rest
I just changed my mind. I thought if I didn't play, I would regret it the rest of my life. I don't want to have any regrets.
good guess proved rather win
I guess we proved we're OK. I'd rather win than feel good about a loss.
