This time of the year we look at it one game at a time. We have the advantage of playing at home and we enjoy playing at our field. But Prairie Grove is a good team and it is very explosive.

We came out and hit the ball extremely well today. Overall, I was very pleased. You hit the ball like that, and put 12 runs on the board against a team like (Elkins), I was very proud of them.

It was a tough game for both teams, because we were both coming back from spring break. I'm very proud of the way we played. We hit the ball well, ran the bases well and executed some nice squeeze plays. We also hit for some power.

Cold weather has effected her to this point. She wasn't extremely tough tonight as far as hitting her spots but she was effective.

I thought we did good of putting the ball in play. In this game, you're going to leave runners on when you mix the short game in, which is what we do. We're going to mix it up, make every approach and make adjustments.

We made some adjustments and they understood what they needed to do. Things were executed well.

Overall I was very proud of the way that we hit the ball, we just can't strand people like we did today.

We told them before the game started that we were going to split the game between both Abby and Whitney. I'm very proud of them. They both had great velocity on their fastballs and a lot of movement on their off-speed pitches.
