I'm a country boy who hasn't really been exposed to city living, and it throws me.
I'm from West Virginia. If you didn't know what was happening in NASCAR, you were on the outside. NASCAR is a big league sport, but it's still also country and redneck.
I mean, how can a guy go out there and really let everything, like I've always said, I like to play, within those white lines, I let myself go. I like to be free. That's why I have my time to just go and just erupt. And with all the rules and the guidelines we've got to follow, man, the league is, they're taking away the fun.
I'll beat you at 100, 200, 400, you name it,
Oh, it's got nothing to do with Denver or sea level, whatever that is.
I want him. He's a great player and he makes our offense great.
I try to sneak in and out. I've seen (former Marshall) coach (Bobby) Pruett over the years. I came to see (current Herd) coach (Mark) Snyder a couple of months ago. ... I try to be low-key and give back to the people I appreciate.
We just really didn't have it in us, ... I really don't know how we're going to react. Some teams go down in the hole, and some teams step up.
Um, I think his approach, being an offensive-minded coach, is something that I can accept, I like. I mean, he's the man, uh, and, you know, I'll leave that at that.
There's no telling what you are going to see,
The tough part of it is, Randy will never be a model citizen. But until this, he's been so good so far this year. It was a very immature thing to do. And he's got to understand that everybody's watching him. But it's wasn't a career-ender.
They had a nice scheme. I'd say I was doubled or tripled 95 percent of the time. But we just have to keep coming back every week and try harder.
They had a nice scheme going. It was to be physical with me at the line, not let me get into my route. I was still getting into my routes, having a good time. I love playing the game of football, but we just didn't do enough to win.
They really don't know me, and I really don't know them. But one thing for sure that I try to leave them with is I am serious about my J-O-B. Once I retire and leave this game, that's what I want everybody to understand.
