It's a pretty straightforward golf course. We feel good about the course and we're certainly ready to win a title.

This is the first tournament where the guys I think should be playing are playing. It will be interesting to see how good we can be when we're hitting on all cylinders.

I was a little disappointed for Alejandro because he was in a good position to win the event. But he had a little trouble on the 15th hole.

He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

They look pretty good and they're getting better every day. But practice is a lot different than the pressure of a tournament.
change continues good mix month players
The lineup continues to change because they're so competitive. I have more players in the mix than I thought I would've had a month ago, so that's a good thing.
demanding hit hole lost quality shots struggled water
We hit a lot of quality shots, but we struggled on a hole you can't struggle on. It's a very demanding hole, and if you hit into the water you're usually not going to make better than a bogey. We lost some shots on that hole, which we just shouldn't do.

We have a little momentum going and want to build on that. You always want to win at home.

We were the last ones off the course and it got a little windy toward the end. I think it played a little tougher at that point in time.
advantage course enjoy home weekend
We only get to do this once a year. We want to enjoy the weekend and take advantage of home course knowledge.
direction guys heading second strides tie victory
It wasn't a victory, which is what we're after every outing. But we had two guys tie for second and we're making strides in the right direction heading into our tournament.
best changed five guys played scholars-and-scholarship tournament unusual
It's been an unusual year. We've had some injuries, so our lineup has changed every tournament this spring. We still haven't played our best five guys yet.
behind eerie groups playing
It was eerie to have groups playing behind us.

It's hard to believe we keep moving up in the polls and we've just been playing, in our minds, mediocre.
