It's great hearing that from a head coach. Injuries happen, unfortunately, and I was sidelined for a couple months. But I'm back now, and this is where I want to be. I just want to work as hard as I can and stay up here the rest of the season.

John did a real good job staying ahead of the hitters most of the time. He was also able to get the curve ball over against certain hitters. I really liked the way he competed. He got seven innings in against a team that beat Coleman 12-5 and beat Jim Ned 6-4. I'm real proud of the way he pitched.
