confidence gave goals inspiring life might quickly shut team
We gave them life quickly after our inspiring goals and that's when you want to shut a team down and take away any confidence they might have.
credit deserve easier protected
They protected well and deserve a lot of credit, but when you're not skating, it's a lot easier for them to do.
expecting goes night offense
The night when he goes in, we're not expecting a lot of offense from him, but everyone else scored.
good near occur puck seem
A lot of good things seem to occur when he's out there on the ice. He's near the puck at all times and just makes things happen.
guy help move strongly team
Unquestionably he's a guy we need back. I feel strongly that he's a guy who can help this team move forward.
ability believe confidence lacking move simple straight

compete conversation doorstep fills gives jimmy level michael miller net point ryan
He's right there on the doorstep and I think he's had a long conversation with Jimmy (Corsi) about that. The way he fills the net is very Miller and Biron-like. We point to the level of compete that Ryan Miller has, where he never gives up on a shot, and that's where Michael Leighton has to go.
basically came generally pleased second shift

came critical huge playing saves
Those were huge saves at critical times. We were playing pretty well and he came up big.
fighting fights-and-fighting front good guys job
He's battling, he's fighting for everything, and the guys are doing a pretty good job in front of him.
effort occasion risen
When a big effort has been needed, he has risen to the occasion recently.
I thought we were well on our way on the weekend.
allowing aware control crafty guy lane pull pulled room short top
Just when you think you have it under control and that they won't pull that off again, they pulled it off. It's a very crafty team. It comes down to being aware in the lane and being on top of people, not so much on the long end but the short end, and not allowing that pass. If you give a guy like that room to make that play, that's the risk.
