defense field
Our defense was on the field too long.
excellent game kids plan
I think we had an excellent game plan and our kids executed it well. I thought we were very unpredictable.
advantage ball difference field good hard played position turning
I think we played hard and we had the opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them. When we had the ball with good field position after turning them over, we weren't able to come away with any points. That was really the difference in the game.
advantage hard played
I think we played hard and had the opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them.
athletic class filled four guys help strong
I think this class filled some needs. We got some tall, athletic receivers and four big, strong corners. Hopefully, some of those guys can help us right away.
along area receiving talent
The area I think has to come along the most is the receiving corps. (Aside from Weatherly, a senior) everyone else is a young guy. But there's some talent there.
bring eight guys human protect reaching trying
I was reaching for my whistle, but I didn't have it on. He doesn't think another human can bring him down. I was trying to get our guys to go over there and protect him after he had about eight guys on him.
confidence gives hoping
I'm hoping this gives us the confidence we need to get better.
definitely games winning
I think there's definitely some correlation to us winning those games.
country frank gave might team
Frank probably gave the team off. If I had the third-ranked team in the country, I might do the same thing.
ball expect expectation good great happy keeps matter player red stop throws today turning
I expect him to be a great player and nothing less. When he doesn't live up to that expectation, I'm not a happy person. I'm not happy when he throws interceptions like he did today in the red zone. That has to stop if we're going to win. It doesn't matter how good he plays, if he keeps turning the ball over we're not going to win.
behavior difficult easy felt message sent since
This wasn't very easy for me. It's one of the more difficult things I've done since I've been here. I did what I felt had to be done. The message had to be sent that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.
again pressure time tired winning
The pressure is on. I'm tired of losing. I don't know if that (pressure) is self-imposed or not. But it's about time we started winning again around here.
pressure sick start time winning
The pressure is I am sick of losing. I don't know if that is self-imposed or what, but it doesn't matter. It is about time we start winning again.
