I don't know who was more nervous, me or the players. I was a little bit antsy before the game, and we played a really good first half -- not as good late in the second. But we needed to win a ball game, and we did that.

Any time an England team goes on the pitch, the expectation is there to win. The important thing for us is beating Wales, starting the momentum and getting the ball rolling. If you look at what was achieved by Wales last season, they won by a kick in the last five minutes against us which enabled them to grow. For us, it created a little bit of instability and, from that, we stuttered through the championship, so it is important we get a win in this first game.

I'm trying to remember what we did so well in that game, it was so long ago. I know we were doing a good job communicating. When you get this late in the season everybody is good. If they don't have a great record, then they know what it takes to win a tournament.
